Nobody likes old avocado and it will take away from the recipe, especially since there is eight avocado in this particular recipe.
If you can’t find any ripe and ready avocado’s at the store then buy the hard ones and put them in a paper bag and they will ripen quicker.
If you are worried at all about your guacamole browning if you’re storing it for some time I recommend adding plastic wrap on top and pressing it tightly on top of the guacamole, making sure all the guacamole is touching the wrap.
If you are worried at all about it browning, it is totally safe to eat if it has browned a bit.

Easy and Healthy Gaucamole
- 8 Ripe Avocado
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup roma tomatoes diced
- 1 lime
- 1 bunch cilantro
In a large bowl, add avocados, pits and outer skin removed, and roughly mash. Leave it a little chunky as you can work with it later t smooth out the consistency.
Next, add the remaining ingredients. Taste to see if you need to add more salt, lime juice, and pepper. The size of your avocado will determine how much seasoning you should add.
Serve with tortilla chips, burritos, tacos or top your burger off with it. Enjoy:)
