Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Happy Sunday Friends!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Fall is well on its way here in Manitoba, and I don’t know about you guys, but I love the crisp air and of course, all the warm drinks that come with the new season.
So my husband and I have moved to a new community again as he is pursuing his career in the police force.
He will be in school while I am working in a fitness center and teaching classes and as well as on this blog of mine.
As seasons of life change so does my heart and mind. I feel as though God is possibly testing us in this season of our lives.
I know when times of testing come or feeling as though you are in the wilderness the easiest thing to do is to become upset and ask why can’t it just be easier?
I heard a woman once say, you know the longer you complain, the longer you remain.
That hit me like a nail on the head! It makes sense, doesn’t it? How is God supposed to bless us and do better things for us in our lives if we don’t learn to appreciate where we are and what we have at the moment we are given.
This week I want to practice praising and being intentional about thanking God for all his blessings.
Your mindset will quickly change if you decide to tell the devil no you will not make me feel defeated. Telling yourself that you’re blessed, and things may be hard now, but they will get better. Not only will that allow you to feel more joyful, but it brings out in inner peace that nothing on earth can bring.
One of the best things you can ever tell yourself if you’re going through a difficult time is. “This too shall pass.”
To God, our days are like a thousand years, and although some days may seem as though they just drag to us, it’s so important to thank God for the time he has given you here on earth.
Today I am beyond grateful for my amazing husband, my family and friends, a roof over our heads, my health, and a beautiful Fall day!
If you are going through a season of blessings or feel like you are in the wilderness, remember you are not alone. God is always for you and cares about you.
Alright, now it’s your turn! Tell me what you’re grateful for today, If you say even three things a day that you are grateful for, I can promise you that you will begin to see your world more brightly!
Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
Thanks so much for reading and have an amazing day!
