A beautiful blend of greens mixed with coconut water is the perfect go-to smoothie for glowing skin.
Smoothies are absolutely the easiest way to get in your greens and guess what, they don’t have to taste terrible either. 🙂
This green glowing skin smoothie was inspired by my teenage years. I used to have absolutely terrible skin. Cystic Acne which left me feeling anxious, depressed and never wanting to leave the house.
I know there are others out there who struggle with it too and I want to tell you things do get better. I’m not saying that drinking smoothies will get you perfect skin but it definitely helped my process along.
To make a long story short it did clear up and get better, however with some difficulties. That story will be for another post.
That being said, I know how hard it is to not feel beautiful in the skin your in. Smoothies honestly were my go-to’s at that time and I still LOVE them to this day.
Getting creative with ingredients in your smoothies is a great way to go through trial and error and see which ones you like.
The Glowing Smoothie
This smoothie is made with Spinach which is super high in protein, Avocado which is high in healthy fats and great for skin. Banana’s which have been known to help protect skin from UV damage. The Kiwi in this glowing skin smoothie is loaded with antioxidants and topped off with coconut water which has been proven to feed friendly gut bacteria. We all need more of that 🙂
This green smoothie has many benefits and throwing a smoothie for breakfast or mid-afternoon pick me up is a great way to increase your energy and fill your body with nutrients that benefit the body.
A super easy smoothie you can freeze in advance and just add the coconut water to your blender after. So it’s almost like having a smoothie on a beach in Hawaii. Okay maybe not quite the same thing but it still makes the day better.
