Whether you’re a morning person or not, having a easy and sweet breakfast waiting for you makes getting out of bed so much better.
This recipe can be made before you go to bed the night before so you’re set for the morning. Planning can be key to sticking to eating clean. This makes it easier to not skip breakfast and start your day off on the right track.
We all can use more hours in the day so save yourself some time in the kitchen and give these chocolate raspberry overnight oats a try.
I make these usually once or twice a week, when I get sick of eating scrambled eggs. It’s the perfect breakfast to have after a workout and gives you a boost of energy for the rest of your day!
The wonderful thing about overnight oats is that you can customize them to your liking. For example if you’re not a fan of raspberries you could always use strawberries. If you wanted more carbs, you could always add half a banana as well.
There are endless ways to make a bowl of overnight oats to your liking. Keeping it fun and creative and always keeping flavour in mind, allows us to keep eating clean feeling less like a chore and more like fun and something to look forward to. Chocolate Raspberry Overnight oats
- 1 cup Gluten-free oats
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tbsp vegan chocolate chips
- 1 handful fresh raspberries
In a mason jar add all ingredients, except raspberries. Mix and stir well. Add raspberries on top and close lid.
Place the mason jar in the refrigerator overnight or 4-6 hours. Serve cold or warm up in the microwave.
