Someone say dessert? Let’s talk sweet treats. Getting cravings happen, I know it happens to all our beautiful souls. That’s why I created these Chocolate Chip Chickpea blondie brownies. Sweet and fudgy on the inside and crispy and salty on the outside.
Living a life of balance means dessert is totally a must and actually I want to say it’s recommended. 🙂
Who doesn’t love a clean sweet treat. I mean every girl loves her chocolate and cheesecakes but I am obsessed with finding ways to make sweets in a healthier and tasty version.

Not only are these blondie brownies flourless, they are made with all natural honey, Almond butter, and dark chocolate chips.
The perfect treat for the days your just craving something sweet. I hope I am not the only one where that happens daily.

I actually made these just this last week for my husband and him not even knowing that they were made with chickpeas. (He does not like chickpeas.) Sneaky I know, loved them and asked me to make him another batch!
These blondie brownies are perfect for your kids’ treats and the perfect thing to serve at birthdays or showers.
Depriving yourself of sweet foods is not an option here.
So if you need to find a dessert then this is just the recipe for you! If you got 10 minutes of prep time you’ll be digging into these in no time!
Some of the Kitchen Tools and ingredients I used to prepare this Recipe:
Food Processor – the easiest way to make this recipe. Save time and allows for the chickpeas to become smooth and create that fudgy brownie.
Dark Chocolate Chips– Organic dark chocolate chips is what makes this recipe. Paired with the sea salt it’s the perfect sweet and salty flavor.
Pan– You don’t need anything fancy, but creating these soft and gooey brownies requires a 9 x 9 pan that allows them to be the right size. This pan paired with parchment paper gives you the perfect sized brownie.
Almond Butter– One of the best almond jars of butter you will ever try. This butter gives this recipe that creamy feel and basically allows the brownie to melt in your mouth.
I also found an amazing Dark Chocolate chickpea brownie recipe from the Roasted Root Blog. So if you’re more into the chocolate brownies feel free to give those a try as well.
Chocolate Chickpea Blondie Brownies
- 1 (15 oz) can Organic Chickpea (rinsed and drained)
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Almond Butter
- 1 tsp Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup Natural Honey
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F
In a food processor, add your chickpeas until it makes a smooth paste.
Add your Wet ingredients to the food processor and mix.
Add all of your dry ingredients except sea salt and mix well.
In a 9 x 9 pan, lined with parchment paper, add your batter and top off with sea salt and more dark chocolate chips and bake for 25 minutes. Allow them to cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
