Because mornings shouldn’t be boring. Start your day with a Berry Smoothie Bowl that tastes as good as it looks!
Is anyone else just as obsessed with smoothie bowls? I freaking love them! I mostly just enjoy making them look pretty after but they are super nutritious and tasty too.
The beautiful thing about Berry smoothie bowls is that they are so easy to make and also very easy to tailor to your taste buds.
Just make sure you always have frozen fruit on hand and you’ll always be set to make a delish smoothie in the morning without having to spend time cutting up fruit.
This berry smoothie bowl will cut the sugar craving you have and also keep you full so whether you like them for breakfast or as an afternoon snack they are easy to make and also easy to grab n go.
For this particular smoothie bowl, I included half a scoop of Vanilla protein powder to get a little extra protein into it. It is, however, optional for ya;)
Adding a dairy-free milk is also a great option. I prefer almond milk but feel free to choose whatever your heart desires.
Blending the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries take no time at all and adding a little honey to it if you are craving a little extra sweetness that day. 🙂
Seriously though, this smoothie bowl does not take more than five minutes to throw together so you don’t have to guess what you’re going to have for breakfast that day.
I recommend using your favorite blender one that can handle some ice crushing. I love using my Vitamix and it’s always my go-to for blending up my smoothies super quick!
Once it’s all nicely blended put it into your favorite bowls and get creative with what you add on top.
Depending on how you’re feeling that day you can choose to add some shredded coconut for some texture and feel free to add extra berries or goji berries.
This recipe is also a great one to have frozen in advance. Just put your berries in a Ziploc bag and put it into your freezer before bed that way you’re all set for the morning.
Or better yet buy them frozen from your local grocery store and save even more time!
I hope you give this berry smoothie bowl recipe a try and if you do I would love to see it! Feel free to tag me on Instagram @sobeautifullybalanced. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful creations!
